ROBERTS Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com W. L. Buddy Roberts, 79, passed away March 1, 2012. He was born in Odum, Georgia, and had been a resident of Jacksonville for many years. A retiree from the U. S. Air Force, he served his country proudly and honorably during the Korean War. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Wanelle Walsh Roberts; a son, Wade Roberts; a daughter, Gayla Strickland (Michael); 3 granddaughters, Jessica and Ashley Roberts, and Raegan Hildebrand; and 1 great-granddaughter, Cecelia Roberts. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Bethel Assembly of God, at 10 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery, at 2 PM.
