Vondell Martin Dingle

She was born in St. Augustine, FL on 11/27/1939 to George Martin III and Maggie

Cooper Martin. Vondell spent most of life serving others. She graduated from Old

Stanton High School in Jacksonville, FL and University School of Nursing &

Health Studies in Miami, FL as a Nurse. She retired from the State of Florida in

Jacksonville, Florida. Vondell was a member of SHADCO, zone 5 sector N and

was active at Lincoln Villa and Lane-Wiley Community Centers. She also loved

traveling and singing, serving her family and community.

Loving survivors include nieces: Cheryna Duncan, Chandra Toure, Patrice Nicholas and Chertanelle

Jackson, Karen Moore (beloved caregiver): sons, Gregory Martin, Timothy Martin

and Jonathan Martin. As well as a host of loving great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday November 21, 2024 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm

in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville FL,

32211.

Funeral services will be held on Friday 22, 2024 at 11:30 am at Corey-Kerlin Funeral

Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Officiating will

be Pastor Barry L Townsend and First Lady Linda G. Townsend.
