Born on March 6, 1958, in Boston, MA, Tom moved to Jacksonville with his family in 1970. He is survived by his five siblings: Mike (Barbara), Bill (Jackie), Terri Still (Robin), Karen Pustay (Butch), Kelly Franzino, and 10 beloved nephews and nieces.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Joan Schuman, and his beloved and loyal dog, Buffy.
Tom graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1976. He was a licensed plumber. His trademark was leaving a place neater and stronger than when he started. He was constantly pitching in and helping friends and family with projects.
Tom called folks ‘Fav’ and ‘The Best’, making everyone feel special. His quick wit kept everyone on their toes and smiling. He enjoyed playing harmonica, horseshoes, pool, darts, fishing, and golf. His kind heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed.
The family is hosting a Celebration of Life for Tom on January 11, 2025.
