Theresa Ann Austin, age 57 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2019 after a 15 year battle with cancer. Terri was a retired Registered Nurse and served as the Administrator for Tender Loving Care Home Care Agency. She also sang for 13 years with The Florida Worship Choir and Orchestra. She has loved music and singing all of her life.
Terri is survived by her mother, Barbara E. Potter, three adult children; Louis N. Diotte, Christopher R. Diotte and Barbara C. Austin. She is also survived by four brothers; James D. Potter, Chester A. Potter, Peter A. Potter, Christopher A. Potter, Aunt; Patricia A. Tohal and one granddaughter; Sophia C. Diotte, along with many nieces and nephews. Terri attended Shindler Drive Baptist Church, where she was a beloved member of the Joy Class Small Group.
Her Musical Celebration of life will be held Monday, November 18, 2019, 11:00am with a visitation for family and friends, 10:00am at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205. Terri requested that all attendees wear brightly colored clothing to her celebration ceremony.
