Susanne Marie Branson

BRANSON, Susanne Marie Branson passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. Her Husband, Jim, and immediate Family members were by her side at the time of her passing. Susanne was born in North Miami Beach, Florida on June 20, 1945. She and her parents relocated to Sidney, New York when she was 2 1/2 years old. In 1954 Susanne, two younger siblings and her parents moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Susanne and her husband Jim recently celebrated their 42 year of marriage. Susanne was an Active Member of The Arlington United Methodist Church. She held several positions of Leadership in the United Methodist Women, and the Arlington Women's Club. During her many years of membership at Arlington, she was very active in Vacation Bible School, Sunday School Teacher, Served on several Committees and on Volunteer Groups. Susanne was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband James, daughter Alice Lottie Jones (Johnathan), two sons; Michael G. Sutton, James Daniel Branson, nine grandchildren; Ashton Sutton, Jessica Boyd, Jennifer Jones, Lydia A. Billingsley, Haley Carter, Samantha Dunman-Sutton, Blake Sutton, Jamison Daniel Branson, Jacob Randall Branson, one great grandchild Diana Lannie Carter and three siblings. The family will receive family and friends on March 26, 2015 from 6-8PM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be Friday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Arlington United Methodist Church. The burial will be Monday March 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family is being assisted by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32211
