Susan Julia Lass

Susan Julia Audrey Lass, 71, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2015 at Shands Hospital surrounded by family and friends who loved her most. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 22, 1943 to Frank Winkler and Ester Winkler who both preceded her in death. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald William Lass. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and home maker. Sue loved music, played the piano, ballroom dancing and spending time with her family. Sue was simply the Best! She loved, supported, encouraged and provided well for her family and was deeply cherished by them all. She is survived by her son - David Lass (Jeanilla) grandchildren Macellyn and Ian; daughter - Alicia Musgrove (Ken) grandchildren Sasha, Kenny, Dalton (Kelly) and Amber; daughter – Victoria Daniels (Mark) grandchildren Heather and Jamie; son - Byron Lass (Scott Klinger). Great grandchildren: Logan, Miley, Devon, Daylon and Daxton. Sue is survived by her sisters Norma Joy (Gerald) and Maryanne Arters (Ed); nieces Jenny Chernohorsky (Bill) and Janet Joy-Jozwiak (Dan); Great nieces Trina, Sarah and Nichole; Sisters-in-law Mary Elyn Bahlert (Jeff Kunkel) and Suzie Schaefer. Sue will be greatly remembered by family and a host of friends. A memorial service will be help at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 (904) 781-9262 on Saturday June 6th at 11:00 am. Immediately follow her memorial service, a luncheon will be held in her honor at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home.
