Formerly of Spartanburg, SC, she worked in a cotton mill in Converse, SC and also worked at Hoechst Fibers for 20 years before moving to Jacksonville in 1984. She then worked for Revlon where she retired in 2004. Sherry's main focus in life was caring for her four children. She loved cooking and collecting recipes, working in her yard, and her strength and faith in Jesus was always present.
She is preceded in death by her father, Walter (Bud) Russell Hendrix; mother, Marion Frances Smith Hendrix; husband, Charles E. Wyatt; son, Charles Michael (Wahoo) Wyatt; brother, Walter (Bud) Russell Hendrix; and one granddaughter, Ericka Tessa Taylor. She is survived by her children Mitchell Allen Wyatt, Vicky Wyatt Baker, and Kelly Aylette Wyatt.
A visitation for Sherry will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. A committal service will occur following the funeral service at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
