Sarah Nash Revord

Sarah Revord, 96, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 due to a long illness. She was born on January 22, 1922 in Comer, Georgia. Sarah retired from Travelers Insurance as a secretary. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Starke and prior to that Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She was the secretary and treasurer and served on many committees.

She is survived by daughter Mickey Gordon (Hugh); grandson Tres Gordon (Terra)’; great granddaughters Makenzie and Taleigh; nephews Jimmie Delettre, Wayne Wright (Karen), and Bubba Wright; Nieces Pat Mixon (Don), Sarah Lee Duffield (Bob). Sarah is preceded in death by her husband Lester J. Revord; parents Bullah C. Nash and Evie Nash; brothers Joe Nash and Melvin Nash; sisters Mae Wright and Thelma Scogin; niece Yvonne Delettre.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 9:00 – 10:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am and will be officiated by Reverend Mike Moore. Burial will follow at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
