Sarah (Sally) Jane Dorancricchio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 10. Sarah was born on November 21, 1921 in Wisconsin. A former industrial welder, she raised her three grandchildren in Illinois prior to marrying the love of her life John in 1973. John and Sarah and family relocated to Jacksonville shortly afterwards. Sarah was a committed wife and grandmother and was an active member of New Life at Park Street Church in Jacksonville since 1975. Sarah is survived by her husband John, granddaughter Kimberly Collins (Carl), grandson Anthony Littlefield and granddaughter Angela Pedigo, all of Jacksonville. Sarah was proud great-grandmother to Johnathan Collins and David and Daniel Dorancricchio, and great-great-grandmother to Toni Littlefield, Emma Dorancricchio and David Dorancricchio II. Friends are invited to visit with Sarah’s family on Sunday evening, April 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A celebration of Sarah’s life will take place on Monday April 15 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life at Park Street Church followed by a graveside service at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Sarah Dorancricchio to New Life at Park Street Church.
