Sandra Cathryn Carpenter

Sandra was born on June 23, 1958 in Jackson, MS. She attended Mississippi State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree.

Sandra is preceded in death by her father William E. Rose Jr. and her mother Mary Yarbro Rose.

Sandra is survived by her husband William R. Carpenter Jr., her brother William E. Rose III, step mother E. Ann Rose, step sister Jennifer L. Keener and step nephew Jordan Keener.

Sandra’s life didn’t come to an end with her death. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. She was a devoted Christian and her greatest joy in life was serving the Lord and others through Christ’s Church in Jacksonville. She was a devoted servant and an inspiration to so many. She also enjoyed reading, fishing and was an avid sports fan.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 am on February 17, 2023 at Christ’s Church at 6045 Greenland Road, Jacksonville, FL 32258. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Christ’s Church of Jacksonville on her behalf, or a charity of your choice.
