Born in the small town of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, on March 15, 1951 to Ethel and Wallace Scott. Russell lived in Ringtown, Pennsylvania, with his parents and his older sister, Susan, untill he was five years old. In the year of 1956 they relocated their happy family to the small town of Salisbury, Maryland. Russell and his sister grew up with the humble ways of the west side, on Church Street. There his father Wallace began a small Asphalt business named Keystone General Contracting. Though his father and him had many differences in their beliefs of work, Russell became partners with his dad at the age of 23. While he was a good worker, and boss, he was a better hustler. Spending most of his spare time in the local pool halls, and poker rooms, he became known as more than just a business man. As the years continued on and he mastered his natural skills, Russell became labeled as a true hustler.
In 1980, Russell was enjoying a V.O. and coke, where he met his future wife, Ann Marie Breland. Following his belief that life is a gamble, they married in Las Vegas on January 17, 1983 at the Chapel of the Stars. They were blessed with three beautiful, blonde haired, blue eyed children. The first born was Kristina Marie in 1982. Three years later Russell and Ann were blessed with their first boy, Rusty Irwin. After Christmas wishes from their first born, his baby girl Laura Ann arrived in 1992. After moving several times, the Scott family settled in Jacksonville, Florida. Even having suffered numerous health ailments through out his life, Russell still believed in living life to its fullest. Once in Jacksonville, Russ was able to enjoy two of his favorite past times; playing pool and Texas Hold'em. With the love and support of his children and one grandson, Trae, Russell was able to spend his last years with his loving family. At the young age of 59, Russell peacefully passed on August 2, 2010.
There is no doubt that he was a great man, who will be missed deeply. And no matter what you knew him by he is only gone, but NEVER FORGOTTEN!
