Ron was born in Rockingham, NC, in 1935, the second of six children. Upon graduating high school, Ron served in the US Army and went on to graduate from Guilford College in 1962. He spent 26 years working in sales for Texize Chemicals (Dow Brands) and made many lasting friendships throughout his tenure.
Ron was married to his devoted wife, Patricia, for 56 years. He was a loving father to his three children: Rhonda (Bud) Eavenson, Renee (Chris) Taylor, Brian (Lori) Parker and his five grandchildren: Jennifer, Morgan (Joe), Julie Anne, Kelly and Evan.
Ron was hardworking, dependable, fun-loving and selfless. He loved his family unconditionally with great care, compassion and generosity. Always the life of the party, Ron made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed!
