Our precious wife, daughter, and sister, Robin Stevens Davis, 35, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away November 30, 2011, at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, of respiratory failure.
Robin was born April 18, 1976, in Springfield, Illinois, to Robert Eugene Stevens and Eileen Bateman Stevens. She was diagnosed at three months of age with a lung disease, cystic fibrosis. She grew up in Rochester, Illinois and attended schools there, then graduated from Ricks College and Brigham Young University-Provo with a Bachelor's degree in psychology.
On January 16, 1998, Robin underwent a lung transplant because of Cystic Fibrosis. Although her medical condition limited her physical abilities, she never complained about those limitations or challenges.
On December 23, 2005, she married Don Kent Davis, Jr., of Idaho Falls, in Nauvoo, Illinois. Robin was a dedicated wife and homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served most recently with the Young Women's Organization. Robin enjoyed socializing, blogging, and writing. She recently finished a book about her grandmother. Her quick wit and infectious smile endeared her to all she met.
