Robin Joy Davis of Jacksonville, FL gained her angel wings on August 1, 2022, at the age of 46. Her long battle with cancer showed her courage in facing life challenges with a positive attitude, big smile, and perseverance. Despite the pain and uncertainty, Robin Joy came out a hero and stayed strong until her last breath.
Robin Joy is survived by her mom and dad Tim and Theresa Woodard; her brothers Logan Woodard and Ian Atwell; sister Taylor Atwell; uncles Frank Davis and Wayne Davis; aunts Cathy Davis and Peggy Woodard; too many cousins and second cousins to mention; her best friend of 30 years Trudy; and so many friends who became family along the way.
She was proceeded in death by her great-grandmother Ida Jordan; maternal grandparents; her nanny Joy Davis; grandfather Franklin D.R. Davis; and paternal grandparents Joe and Lois Woodard.
Robin’s smile crossed state lines... really! She will always be known for her smile, quick wit, and the kindest heart you could have ever known.
People literally fell in love with Robin instantly. She touched so many lives in her 46 years.
Robin had a passion for photography, with many repeat clients that loved her work. Some families had Robin from engagement, wedding, to pregnancy, first born baby pictures and beyond.
Robin also had a passion for writing. She could write better than anyone I have encountered. She was told by so many that she missed her true calling. She had the same answer to all: she could only write what she was passionate about.
She could always make you laugh even when she felt her worst and did so all the way to the end. Those that knew Robin Joy were blessed!
Robin was truly an angel on earth. She was the best daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and the best friend you could ever have.
Baby girl I Love You to heaven and back!
Now I lay me down to sleep…
A celebration of life for Robin will be held Saturday August 6,2022 at 11:00 AM at the Town Hall Event Center, 2300 Market Dr., Fleming Island, FL 32003
