Robert Wayne Trimble

Robert Trimble, age 85 of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2021. Originally from East View, Kentucky, Robert was born on January 2, 1936 to Lloyd & Geneva Trimble. He graduated from Somerset High School in 1954 and worked as an Operation Supervisor at Watkins Motor Lines until he retired. Robert attended First Baptist Church in downtown Jacksonville.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joanne Trimble and daughter-in-law, Christine Trimble.

He is survived by his son, Timothy E. Trimble; and daughter, Christina Ruel (husband, Michel Ruel Sr.). As well as three grandchildren, Rachel Green (husband, Chad Green), Matthew Trimble and Michel Ruel Jr. (girlfriend, Jessie). Robert is also survived by one great-grandson, Jameson Green. He had extended family & friends; all of whom will miss his quick wit and loyal friendship.

A viewing will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service to celebrate his life will follow immediately after with graveside service starting at 3:00p.m.
