Randall "Randy" Lee Jacobs

He was a veteran of the United States Navy; serving for 10 years achieving the rank of E6. He was a member of HS-9 Sea Griffins during Desert Storm. He was a high school graduate and worked as a Maintenance Supervisor with Holcim Industries.

Randy married Emecita Jacobs on October 6, 2018.

Randy loved Gators Football, enjoyed listening to music, was an avid train enthusiast, and a collector of O gauge model trains. He loved his dog Sophie and his bird Molly. Randy also was a huge Star Wars fan.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Judy Jacobs.

Randy is survived by his wife, Emecita Jacobs; his sister, Amy Johnson (Ken); his daughters Heather Westerwelle (Michael) and Tara Abelgas; his sons Tracy Jacobs (Anna), Paolo Abelgas; his granddaughters, Rheanna Westerwelle, Sophia Abelgas, Lenoir Abelgas; and many relatives and friends.

A visitation for Randy will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
