Sorry Woerly family for your loss.  I worked with Mike for 20 years at Bank of America.  Although I am in NC, I only got to meet him in person 1 time but talked to him daily for years.  Mike was one of the greatest people ive ever worked with or known.  This makes me very sad.  God Bless Mike and his family during this time. 

I worked with Mike for several years before he retired.  He was our primary tech expert for several mainframe systems and was one of the BEST colleagues I have ever worked with.  Mike understood the technical programming side of our systems and could translate that into English for business processes so well - it was amazing.  We had planned to go see who could play the worst game of golf - but I never got the chance to prove how much better he was than me!  Mike Woerly was a good man who will be missed by many.

To Mike's Family ~ I am so shocked to hear of Mike's passing.  I talked with him on the phone just before Christmas and he said he was feeling fine.  I've known Mike for 25 years, having worked closely with him at Bank of America.  Even though I am in North Carolina, we talked daily about work.  After he retired, we kept in touch regularly.  He was such a great person!  I am truly going to miss him!  Please accept my sincere condolences!  Donna Capraro

Our deepest sympathies to the Woerly family. Knowing Mike held a deep faith in God I feel assured that he is now with the Lord. We will miss his quick wit and kind heart. I will also miss the many hours we enjoyed on the golf course. We feel very very blessed that he called us friends.

I am grateful for the adventures we had..

Fly high Uncle Mike. I'll always remember the summers you'd come up to Illinois and our rounds of golf at Gibson Woods. The weekend you came down before I shipped off to Germany will be a memory I'll cherish forever. You may be gone but will forever be in our hearts.

Michael was not in my life for a long time but this great man helped me get through a difficult time in my life with some great life advice. Only knowing me for a few days he was able to see I needed some help and guidance and he gave it to me! He changed my life and I will always have a special place in my heart for him and he will always be in my memories. Michael was just a great man that loved golf and cared for anyone that was in his life. He will be missed so much by everyone that was in his life either for a day or for years. RIP Michael and you will always be loved and missed
