Michael worked in the building supply industry for over 50 years as a Sales Consultant and Manager. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years and was a member of Fruit Cove Baptist Church since 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Janie; three daughters, Lori Lynn, Terry, & Lori Michelle; three grandchildren, Kristian, Michael, & Dylan; and one great-grandchild, Kaleb. He was beloved by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His passions were his family, wonderful friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Fruit Cove Baptist Church, 501 State Rd 13, Fruit Cove, FL 32259. The Inurnment will take place following the service at 2:30 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.
