Michael Grant Niemeyer, age 46, passed away February 22, 2023. Grant was born November 5, 1976 in Jacksonville, FL to James Allan Niemeyer and Janice Macon Niemeyer. He was the owner of Hortico, a landscape maintenance business, and was known for his love of landscape design and being outdoors. Grant loved to surf, and enjoyed skateboarding. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Grant was a devoted father, loving son, and friend to many.
He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew Webb Niemeyer in December, 2008 and his father James Allan Niemeyer in February, 2020. Grant is survived by his mother, Janice Macon Niemeyer, his son Jameson Asher Niemeyer, a brother Brett (Wendy) Niemeyer and a sister Krista Murray. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 6th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Pastor Richard Carney will serve as officiant.
