remembered fondly for her generosity, her love of friends, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was passionately devoted to her pets throughout her life. She was born in Memphis, Tenn on October 31, 1924 as the only daughter, of 4 children, to William H. (Bill) and Vena Terry. She attended Ward-Belmont Preparatory Girls School, Nashville, and graduated from Ward-Belmont College.
Marjorie was an avid tennis and golf player, winning many club championships at Timuquana Country Club, Florida Yacht Club, and The Country Club of Sapphire Valley, NC. She and her husband, Frank, enjoyed traveling around the world, and spending summers at their mountain homes in North Carolina.
Her husband, parents, and all 3 brothers, Bill Jr, Ray, and Kenn Terry, predeceased her.
She is survived by her children, Tem (Lisa) St Mary, Ga.; Terry (Holly) Jax; Bunnie Jackson (Stewart) Bluffton,SC; and step-son, David Kadel(Mary) Tequesta, Fl. She enjoyed being grandmother to her 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Robin, Rhonda, Delain Sawyer who devoted her service over the last 6 years, and KK, Katanga, and Kina, to allow Marjorie to stay in her home that she loved.
A private family service will be held at a future date.
