Marianne graduated from FSU and later, as a single parent raising four children, she obtained her Nursing degree from Florida Junior College. She worked for many years at University Hospital as a nurse,Quality Assurance Coordinator and eventually top administration.
An accomplished pianist, she played in Musicals at St. Joseph's Academy where she was the Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen and Valedictorian. She had a strong faith and was an active member of Assumption Catholic Parish, where she volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul. She was also the Coordinator of the Ministry for Seperated, Divorced and Widowed under the Sponsorship of St. Augustine Catholic Diocesan Center for Family Life.
She is survived by her four children: Richard Jordan (Pam), Mary Katheryn Long (Keith), Frederick Jordan (Kelly), and Christopher Jordan (Claudia). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. As well as her sister, Marsha Rollins (Bill) and her brother, John Ferlisi (Debbie).
A visitation for Marianne will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, The Legacy Lodge, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur at the funeral home on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow.
