Marian Vaughn Byram, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the age of 87 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Jacksonville on March 2, 1934, to her father, Robert Marion Vaughn and her mother, Mildred (Dozier) Vaughn Dailey.
Marian graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1951. In 1954 she married her high school sweetheart and husband of 67 years, James Richard Byram. After a short time in San Francisco, California they returned to Jacksonville to raise their family.
Marian is survived by her sisters, Katherine (Vaughn) Remley, Mary (Jennings) Bosenberg; brothers, Guy Jennings and Sam Dailey; children Sharon (Greg) Mattox, Suzy (Rick) Jones and James P. (Tammy) Byram; grandchildren Ashley (Brian) Heller, Jennifer (Stephen) Hunt, Stephanie (Zach) Aten, Rachel M. Jones, Emily K. Jones, Joshua M. (Karen) Mattox; Nathaneal J. (Tiffany) Byram, Hunter P. Byram and Luke A. Byram; great grandchildren Emerson S. Heller, McKaela R. Hunt, Adelyn R. Heller, Madelyn J. Hunt, Gabriella S. Heller, Beau J. Byram, Bennett A. Mattox, Sadie Lynn Byram; and by loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Marian was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband.
A graveside service is planned for Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery.
