Louise was born on 01/04/1935 to Emma Morgan and Alfred Bennett in Linville, NC and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 1959, Louise met and married Wayne Cantrell. They were blessed with two sons, David Cantrell and Rob Cantrell, and later welcomed their daughter, Christy Cantrell through adoption.
Louise was an astute business woman who began her career as a legal secretary, where she quickly rose through the ranks and became the first woman in the state of Florida to have both her CCIM and CPM real estate licenses. She later founded her own commercial real estate company that covered territory from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Daytona, Florida.
Louise founded the International Ministry through First Baptist Church where she assisted families in their journey to become American citizens.
Louise was preceded in death by her sons, David Cantrell and Rob Cantrell; her sister, Barbara Lasiter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Wayne Cantrell; daughter, Christy Cantrell; and her grandchildren Lauren Cantrell, Michelle Boblitz and Tres Cantrell.
A visitation will be held at 9am at 11801 San Jose Boulevard at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home on June 03, 2024, and a service following at 10am. Burial will taking place at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2pm.
