Linda Patricia (Pat) Mills, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away on May 2, 2017. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 28, 1950 to the late Faye and Dewey Phillips. She went to high school at Jacksonville Technical High School and graduated Valedictorian in 1969. She worked in sales and marketing at Anchor Lithkemko printing company and retired in 1992. Pat was best known for and touched many with her smart witty sense of humor, even in her final days. She was an excellent cook. She also enjoyed playing golf, reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. People also knew Pat as “Patsy”, “Pat the Great” and golf buddies knew her as “Patty-Whack”. Pat is preceded in death by her Brother, Lloyd Phillips. Pat is survived by her husband Ewell (EG) Mills, her daughter Melanie and husband Mike Hendrix, their children Hadley and Emilie; nephew Randy Phillips, his child Sara; niece Lori and husband Chris Deloney, their children Chelsey and Hannah; nephew Steve Causey; children by marriage: daughter Leslie Vickers, her children Brian, Bekah and Rachel; daughter Laura and husband Chris Calise, their children Sarah and John; daughter Leigh-Anne Morrill, her children Ashleigh and Alec; and half-brother Vic Phillips. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, on Sunday, May 21, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd.
