Well Kris, it's a year today that you moved in to Heaven.  I miss you so, so much.  It's hard to believe it's been a year already.  I wasn't prepared.to lose you but God needed you with him.  I love and miss you everyday, you are always in my thoughts as you live in my heart.
I love you my sweet beautiful sister Kris.

Kristina is my first cousin; I’ve known her since she was born.  In October 2020, Kristina and I spoke about her challenging medical situation, and her relationship with Christ.  Over the next couple of years, we both spoke openly about these important issues, as recent as last month, and she would be happy with me sharing these words.  Life’s circumstances don’t always allow for these discussions; thankfully they did for Kristina and me.  She was confident she was going to Heaven but was troubled not being able to remember some things in her past she wanted to ask forgiveness for.   

Kristina was comforted to learn that Christ doesn’t require that we name each and every sin.  We learn from the Bible in 1 John 1:6 &7, “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from ALL sin.”  Kristina had the assurance she desired and today she’s walking in Heaven with Christ and her Christian friends and family in her new, but “temporary body”.

Kristina and I also discussed life in the New Heaven and New Earth, after God restores Earth to his original plan.  It’s really exciting to read about—the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are filled with verses about the New Heaven and New Earth. As much as we already miss Kristina, we know she immediately went to be with Christ, and is in a very real place.  She told me, “I know I’m going to Heaven, Jesus was crucified on the cross for my sins and he loves me.”  I look forward to seeing Kristina again, and of course our Lord Jesus Christ.  You can too. Kristina was a gem and well loved by all that knew her.  She will be remembered for her great personality and her gracious caring nature. 
It was a pleasure working with Kristina for many years. 
She will be greatly missed.

I miss you so much aunt Kris I still can't wrap my head around all of this but I know you are in a better place with no more pain. Watch over all of us until we meet again I love you Aunt kris. 

Kristina, from the first time I met you were an awesome lady, so kind and always had a smile.  I loved the pony tail on your motorcycle helmet and you bike was beautiful just as you are!!
