Kimberly Ann Wilson, 63, of Jacksonville, Florida, moved to her heavenly home on February 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 6, 1960, in Erie, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Nathan B. Forrest High School in 1978, where she played varsity tennis.
Kim worked in the mortgage industry for more than 35 years, and retired from Vystar Credit Union, after more than 20 years of service, where she was a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor. Kim enjoyed sports in her youth, especially bowling, tennis, and running. She loved music, theatre, movies, antiques, and traveling, especially to Walt Disney World. She always looked forward to her favorite holiday, Christmas. Kim also adored cats and dogs, lovingly raising treasured cats, TC and Ditto; dogs, Gina and Lucy; and most recently, training her puppy Lola. She was a woman of strong faith in God. Kim will be remembered for her kind, loving, and giving heart.
Kim is predeceased by her parents, Vera E. and Robert S. Caruso. Sr. She is survived by the love of her life, best friend, and husband, Robert M. Wilson; brother, Robert S. (Ashley) Caruso. Jr.; sister, Lisa Caruso; nephew, Andrew R. Caruso, and niece, Elana G. (Michael) Vaccaro. Pallbearers: Fred Baum, Steve Baum, Don Davis, Steve Hermes, Lloyd Patterson and Scott Wilson, Jr.
A visitation for Kimberly will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Park United Methodist Church, 819 Park St, Jacksonville, FL 32204. A committal service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207.
