Kim Marie (Dunne) Dorsey was born on 10 October 1974. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Civil Engineering. She was a Certified General Contractor and owner of her own Construction Company, as well as Director of Training for the Quality Assurance Department of Inspection Depot. Survivors include her husband, Derrick Dorsey, an Engineer/Paramedic with the Jacksonville Fire/Rescue Department; her father, Dennis Dunne; a brother and his wife, Patrick and Gwen Dunn; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. Jack and Kathryn Dorsey; and her three precious children: Dexter, Gracie and Duncan, her dearly loved Miniature Snauzers.
Kim was a gracious, warm and caring person whose voice has been hushed by a tragic and senseless death, but whose influence will continue to be felt by those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road, North 32225, at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, 03 November 2012.

"Sinner, the power of God's anger is against you, and power and anger together make fearful work. It were better you had all the world in arms against you than to have the power of God against you. There is no escaping His hands, no breaking His prison." ("A Sure Guide to Heaven" by Joseph Alleine).
