Kathleen F. Haggerty, 71, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 1, 1947. Kathy graduated from Madison High School in 1965. She went on to receive both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Boston University. Kathy had a long career in the legal field until she retired in 2017. She loved to travel and to sing, and was a member and president of the Bridges of Harmony Chorus of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Harmony Chorus.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Christine Cauvet (Bruce) of California, her cousins, Billy Zommer, Evelyn Lutz, Jan Bowers, Joan Zommer-Seda, and Frank Zommer all from New Jersey, and her step-son Peter Savelberg and his son, Bart, of Holland. Kathy is dearly loved by her friends and family, and she will be greatly missed.
