Karen A. Balzano, 50, a loving wife, mother, and friend passed peacefully after her courageous battle on June 4, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL where she has resided for 14 years. She lived a life full of joy and love with her husband and daughters. She was born and raised in New Haven, CT and lived her life with a kind soul and a free spirit that will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Karen enjoyed her crossword puzzles, gardening, was an avid reader, and an animal advocate. Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory, devoted husband of 23 years, Nicholas A. Balzano; daughters, Calli and Amanda Balzano; sister, Debra Czarkowski of Ct; and many treasured friends.
