Karen Nanette Baker, age 46, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Karen was born August 16, 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida to Edward and Aris (Lindsey) Mendillo. Karen was a life- long resident of Jacksonville and was born into a Navy family. She had a great zest for life and was lover of animals. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Survivors include her three children Thomas Baker, Caitlyn Baker, and Emily Baker; brother Jeff Mendillo (Linda); sister Jamie Deffes (John); uncle and aunt Ward and Barbara Lindsey; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service is scheduled 6:00 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
