Julia Frances Harper

Julia Frances Harper, age 90, passed away in Jacksonville on March 21, 2018. She was born on October 8, 1927 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Buford and Lillie Tucker. Julia had been a resident of Jacksonville since 1969 coming from Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to her retirement she worked in retail sales for Lerner in Jacksonville for 15 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Harper and her son John Harper. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Michael Harper (Jeannie) of Foley, Alabama, and Randy Harper (Brenda) of Jacksonville, Florida and Donna Harper of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Monday March 26, 2018 at 10:00am at Oaklawn Cemetery. Donations may be made in Julia’s name to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
