Judith M. Taylor, 71, native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, passed away October 3, 2013 with her loving husband and others at her side. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Sophia (Bailey) Melven.
Judy worked for many years for CSX Railroad in the finance department. She was a longtime member of the Beaches Chapel Church and loved antique shopping. She never came home without a lamp.
Surviving are her dear husband, Richard Taylor, a twin sister, Jacqueline Phillips (Ron), two sons, four granddaughters, two grandsons, four great grandchildren and a large loving family and many dear friends.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. Pastor Howard McMinn will officiate.
