She is preceded in death by her husband, John T. Carlisle, Sr.; brothers, Bob, Marvin, and
Hubert Rogers; daughter, Margie Lisa Griffis Steele Bryant.
Memaw is survived by her loving children, Tony Joe (Susan) Fernandez, Charles Richard (Renee) Meredith, Robert Luvern (Penny) Meredith, Christy J. (Barry Frost) Johnson, Step-son Gary his wife Pat, Step-daughter Theresa her husband Steve, Step-son Johnny his wife Frances, Step-daughter Brenda her husband Rick, Step-daughter Debbie, Step-daughter Diane her husband John, Step-daughter Barbara, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on May 31, 2016 from 5-7pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville 32205. Funeral Service will be with the same location on June 2, 2016 at 1pm. Interment will follow with Edgewood Cemetery. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
