Joy Yevette Davis

She was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Aunt, Friend and the BEST Nanny there ever was.

Joy was proceeded in death by her cherished husband, Franklin D.R. Davis, and mother, Ida Dixon Jordan.

She is survived by her three children, Theresa Woodard (Tim), Franklin Cedric Davis, Wayne Davis (Cathy). Seven grandchildren, Robin Joy Davis, Crystal Hickman (David), Logan Woodard (Jackie), Michael Davis, Zach Davis, Susan Devaney (Nick), Kaylie Jones, and three Great grandchildren, Aiden Arseneault, Cayden Arseneault and Kash Hickman.

Joy is also survived by her three sisters, Gail Adams, Joyce Holloway (twin), Latrelle Raker (Dave), and three brothers, Cedric Jordan (Ray), Cary Jordan (Eva) and Vernon “JR” Jordan, and many nieces and nephews.

Joy touched many lives in her short 79 years. She was very passionate about family, her God, making sure all were fed, her friends that became family, and her favorite sport - BINGO!

She will be missed by all, but never ever forgotten. She will live on in our hearts and in the many wonderful memories she gave us all.

Joy’s life will be celebrated Monday, July 6, 2020 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home (1426 Rowe Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32208).

Visitation is from 10am to 11am - Service to follow.
