He reached the top of the ranks and retired from the U.S.M.C. where he earned his nickname “Top Huth”.
He open his own company called Huth General Maintenance where he built and remodeled Subway Sandwich Shops for 10 years then worked for Richard Dostie New Home Collection as a building superintendent working his way up to Vice President of Construction.
He is survived by his wife Sherian and his son John T. Jr. also his grandchildren Jason, Jeremy, and Amanda Huth, his brothers Ed and Marty and preceded in death by Diane Reingardt is sister

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville,FL
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Monday, February 1, 2016 in the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
