Joan Marie Waller

She is survived by her five children, Eddie Waller (Hatsuko), Cilla Ramia (Peter), Debra Kliese, Michael Waller (Anthony), and Stephanie Joiner (Rick) and a son Richard Waller who is waiting for her at the Gate of Heaven. She also has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Joan Marie was a devout Catholic and attended St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Riverside, Jacksonville, FL for many years. She served in the U.S. Army for over 18 months; worked at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Riverside, for 42 years as a nurse’s aide and also in housekeeping for the Nuns.

She loved going to thrift stores and flea markets, but her ultimate wish was to travel to Rome, Italy to visit the Vatican. She got her wish in 2009 with tour to England, France, Switzerland and Italy.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Spread your wings now and go home to Heaven in the arms of God. We Love You.

A visitation for Joan will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
