Jim had worked as a Laboratory Scientist in the medical field but most recently was a loving stay at home Dad. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Jacksonville.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karelyn and his son Cameron Pickering.
He is also survived by his mother Beverly Pickering of Jacksonville, FL and two step daughters, Katherine Keller-Smith of Cochran, GA and Gillian Keller-Smith also of Cochran, GA, and one sister Valerie Jackson of Jacksonville, FL and a brother, Steve Pickering of Dunnellon, FL .
A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 720 Arlington Rd N., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
Inurment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery.
