Jewel L. Sprinkle went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening July 29, 2015 at 5:15 p.m. Jewel was born in Liberty Road, KY May 14, 1923 to Ada and Mitchell Evans. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Sprinkle, 2 sisters Carol and Ruby, 2 brothers Tort and Nick, and a grandson, Chris Sprinkle. She is survived by a sister, Eve Brenner, a daughter Jodi Reese (Earl), a son Larry Sprinkle, 5 grandchildren Todd Sprinkle (Dana), Kirk Sprinkle, Amber Bryan (Bobby), Julie NeSmith, and April Croasmun (Michael), 11 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 Main St N., Jacksonville, FL 32218. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice.
