Jessie Eugene Harmon

Jessie Eugene Harmon, age 73, passed away January 17, 2018 in Haven Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on June 30, 1944 in Atlanta Georgia. His parents were Jessie C. Harmon and Katherine D. Coffey.

His passions in life were simple. He loved his wife, his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, if he wasn’t doing on of those things he was watching sports. He also enjoyed making model ships and cars. He is predeceased by his mother, Katherine Harmon and father, Jessie C. Harmon; his wife, Glenda K. Harmon; and brother, James E. Harmon.

He is survived by his sons, Gary Scott Harmon (Buffy) and Eric Eugene Harmon (Janis); sister, Evelyn Armstrong; grandchildren, Matthew Harmon, Andrew Harmon, Michael Martin and Megan Sutton; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Harmon and Meadow Martin. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225. Interment will follow in in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
