Jean L. McElroy

Jean L. McElroy, born March 10, 1928, passed away on September 7, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert F McElroy. She is survived by her three (3) children; Al Benoit, Debra (James) Tucker, and Susan Thomas; six (6) step-children; Robert (Delores) McElroy, Michael (Gloria) McElroy, John (Karen) McElroy, Maureen Plato, Ron (Dot) McElroy and Don (Cindy) McElroy. She is also survived by many grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Town and Country funeral home 7242 Normandy Blvd. on Friday, September 10 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. A Christian service will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Saturday, September 11 at 10:00 am with Father Tim Lozier, celebrant followed by the burial at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the building fund for Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 8523 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221 in Jean’s name.
