Janet Geraldine Grey

Janet Geraldine Gray, age 67, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 14th 2022 , in Jacksonville Florida. She was able to fulfill her last wish of spending the holidays with her son (Horace) and his wife (Amber).

Janet was born February 27th 1955 to Matilda Lawrence and David Grey in Hanover-Haddington (Jamaica). Janet resided in Montego Bay (Jamaica) and was the youngest of 7 children, However she was always the head of the operation. The one that others would go to for advice and/or helping hands. She completed her BA in education And worked as a primary school educator for 40 plus years. She was affiliated with organizations Corinaldi Primary and Mount Alvernia Prep. Janet enjoyed singing on the choir, attending church, teaching/tutoring, reading and traveling.

Janet is survived by her only son Horace C. Robinson (Amber); 3 sisters (Rosmin, Olga, Noranelle); 2 nieces and 3 nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother's Pervis, Bruce and Ewan.

Janet touched a lot of people personally and professionally, her legacy will live on in the memories and hearts of those she interacted with during her life time.

Due to the nature and abrupt manner of Janet's departure, a celebration of life will be held on Friday January 20th at 2 PM via Google Meets. Details will be provided to those indivuals interested in attending at a later date. ( Event will be limited to a 100 participants)
