James R. Kilgore (Jimmy, JR) age 72 of Baldwin passed away May 27, 2013. He was a native of Jacksonville and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School class of ’58. He retired from the JEA with 32 years of loyal service. He worked at all three power generating stations. He was a member of the Mandarin Moose #42 and the Orange Park Elks #2605. He loved people and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dale Kilgore. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Faye, two sons, Jerry and Kevin Kilgore, two grandsons, Jimmy and Marcus Kilgore and special friend Jerid Cozart, two brothers, Charles Kilgore (Leslie), Gordon Whitehurst (Linda) and one sister Mary Lou Raulerson (Mark) and many loving family members and friends. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation is scheduled in the chapel on Friday May 31, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at funeral home.
