Jim was born a Jersey Boy to his parents Rose Marie (Dolly) and Howard (Gabe) on March 6, 1954. He was the third born of their 5 children. Jim Served as a sergeant in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea before returning with his first son, Jimmy Jr. In 1990 Jim married his wife Gladys who gave him his second and third children, Christopher and Nicole. He moved his family to Jacksonville in 2003 and started his career with Coca-Cola.
Jim was a lifetime motorcycle rider and enthusiast, and the only thing he loved more was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gladys; 3 children, Jimbo, Chris and Nicole; his father, Gabe; his baby sister, Michelle; his nephew, Rick; “as well as two very spoiled dogs, Lucy and Ginger."
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Northeast Florida.
