Jacqueline Woods Frady

Jacqueline Woods Frady, 85, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2022 after a brief illness. Mrs. Frady was born on March 15, 1937 in Duck Hill, Mississippi to Henry H. Wood and Geneve Bennett Wood. She was a Navy wife for more than 20 years and also a Supervisor at U.S. Navy Commissaries. Because she was raised on a 300-acre farm, she loved the outdoors especially yardwork and gardening. Jacqueline lived in Florida for more than 20 years. She enjoyed going with her son to casinos like the Hard Rock, in many different towns and especially Biloxi. She was a great cook and always made sure that no one went hungry, either family, friends or strangers. She had the ability to make friends with anyone and everyone especially in her last days with the Doctors and Nurses. She was a very sweet southern lady.

She was predeceased by her ex-husband Donald L Vance, and her daughter, Donna Lynn Frazier. Survivors include her son Michael Vance (Tonya Farrell); brothers, Henry Woods and Jimmy Woods; grandchildren, Mikki and Christi Frazier; great -grandson, Kevin Michael Melton; nieces, nephews and loving friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in her name to any Cancer Foundation or any Homeless Shelter that feeds the homeless.

Private services will be held by the family.
