Wow.  All this talk about GT's smiles, kindness, being a Godly man, etc., etc.  Don't know what to say, except I worked with him for a couple of years at Ring Power and he was a miserable, arrogant cuss.  The person I disliked the most at RP.  Did he suddenly become a nice guy at some point in the mid 90s and beyond???

Grandpa Walker-

Whenever I think of Grandma's house, I always remember first her laughter and then Grandpa's booming hellos - "Hey, Sammy!"  I'm going to miss that when I make it back home.

Thanks, Grandpa, for teaching me more than I ever thought I wanted to know about what goes into a good Western film, and why every home isn't complete without a buck on the wall and some form of cat wearing a Santa hat during the holidays.

I'm sorry that you're gone, but I'm glad that you're no longer in pain.  Our family couldn't ask for better guardian angels than you and Bethany.

Uncle GT I could listen to the stories with you and the boys frank and johnny over and over again at the hunting camp.  I didn't know you like they did but by the smiles on there faces when they mentioned your name you must have been special.  We all know your at ease rest in peace Johnny, Cassie and Frank

Hey Grandma and family - I know its tough to see Papa Gt go but he is in a better place and no longer suffers! For which we should rejoice! He was very knowledgeable especially when it came to hunting! I'll never forget the time he tricked mom in to eating venison by telling it was roast! He gotta kick out of when he finally told her later that night she was eating Bambi! The look on her face was priceless! A wise ole man he was thus never missing an opportunity especially that one! Carolyn and family - GT was a big influence on me and other folks he worked with. He taught me a lot and I respected what he had to say. He always made us laugh, and he was certainly serious when he needed to be. Though I have not seen the two of you in quite a while, GT's legacy lives on in the backyard of the beach house. To the children of G.T., I am so sorry for the loss of your father. G.T. was one of the good guys and my favorite brother-in-law. He will not be forgotten!

Mrs. Walker and family,  I am so sorry to hear of GT's passing.  I had the great opportunity to work with him for over 25 years and he taught me a lot about the welding trade and about life.  He would not let anybody say anything negative about Ring Power period.  That's one of the things I loved about him.  His faith was strong and he talked about it with me all of the time so I know he's in heaven.  In a blue collar world most men willo not share their faith, but GT did and I respected him for it. I will miss him.
