She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Wright and Lucille Johnson; and her siblings, Louise Peek and Earl Wright.

Born November 11, 1933, Geneva grew up in Worth County, Georgia. She raised her family in Jesup, Georgia. She loved to cook and hosted many holiday parties and gatherings. A true friend, she kept in touch and maintained many lifelong friendships. She loved to travel particularly to Italy with her close friend, Belinda. Geneva loved life and genuinely loved connecting with people.
Refusing to retire, Geneva worked at Design Additions in Avondale for more than 18 years. Her bubbly personality and contagious smile touched every person she encountered. Over the years, her coworkers, customers, and beloved Chris and Keith became some of her best friends. Known for her grace, charm and beauty inside and out, she was lovingly referred to as “the Southern Belle of Avondale”.
She had the memory of an elephant and was the archive for all family recipes, birthdays, anniversary dates and memorable moments - whether they were good or bad.
She was adored by her children, grandchildren and friends, and her legacy will be carried on by them for generations. No one left her house without a full belly, a big hug and hearing her say I love you.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family has been asked that donations be made to community hospice.
