Gary Lee Snipes

Gary Lee Snipes, 63, passed away March 7, 2012. He was born September 21, 1948 in Worchester, MA to the late Floyd and Evelyn Snipes. He grew up in Lancaster, MA and graduated from Nashoba Regional High, in Bolton. He joined the Navy shortly after graduation and retired after serving his country for 22 years. He then worked at the Arlington Adult Facility in Jax.

Family members include his wife of 27 years, Erlinda Snipes, son Allence (Cheryl) Ribao, daughter Charlene (Jonard) Lamug, brother Robert (Sherryanne) Snipes, sisters Nalene (Max) Snyder, Barbara (Tom) Soldi and Dale McArthur, seven grandchildren, in-laws Virginia (Ray) DeLeon, Claire Quilon, Sonny Par and Greg (Daisy) Par. He was a fun loving guy and will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

Visitations will be held from 6-8pm, Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N. Jacksonville. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Monday March 19, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors.
