Riffe, Fredrick "Fred" Madison, of Deland, FL, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, age 90. Fred was born July 5, 1934 in Iaeger, West Virginia. He spent his childhood and early adult years in Bluefield, WV and later moved to Florida. Fred's passion for music began at an early age and continued throughout his lifetime. He will best be remembered as a talented singer and musician who touched many hearts through his ministry of song. Fred was a faithful servant for our Lord Jesus Christ and a strong witness to all who knew him. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick & Virginia Riffe, brother, Ralph "Gene" Riffe, sisters, Patricia Wade and Lorraine Tiller. He is survived by his wife, Mary Riffe, children, Angela O'Dell (Mark), Tammy Thoman (Patrick), Fredrick Riffe, sister, Norma LaRose, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of the Alliance Community of Deland, Florida. Interment will be at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida.
