He dearly loved his family, friends, and clients. Fred was a big man with a heart to match who never met a stranger. He was a mentor in business to hundreds of immigrants he helped obtain citizenship in the United States of America.
He was most proud of being the son of Jamila Nicola-Yarred (Amelia Isaac), a survivor of the Titanic.
He leaves his loving wife of 44 years Mona, sons Fred C. Isaac (Marnelle), Barton F. Isaac (Sharon), Brett J. Isaac (Michelle) and daughter Janet I. Blacker; grandchildren, Cameron Isaac Stoddard (Wesley), Kori A. Blacker, Rodgers C. Isaac, Paige A. Blacker, Daniel B. Isaac, Grace E. Isaac, Kate A. Isaac, Sarah E. Isaac, Sophie E. Isaac, Brett J. Isaac, Jr., and great grandson, Aysa C. Isaac.
Fred was survived by his sister Susan Kozak and was preceded in death by his brothers Albert Isaac, Sheffield “Bo” Isaac, and his sisters Dorothy Soud, Margaret Isaac, and Sophie Isaac.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, 2137 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Interment will be immediately following the service at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.
