Donnie Livingston, age 82, of Middleburg, Florida passed away November 13, 2024. Donnie was born in Loris, South Carolina and was known for his spunky personality and good heart. He had a love for Nascar, watching the gators win, old trucks, good southern food and most of all, music. He loved to play his guitar and sing his favorite songs or just whatever came to mind. He was a talented musician who even had some of his original songs featured on the radio! When he wasn't playing music, he enjoyed watching old westerns or tending to his yard which was always perfect. He was a local celebrity around middleburg where he's lived for 21 years. You could find him getting a cup of coffee at the race track, eating breakfast at one of the local diners or having a laugh with one of the many friends he had. Donnie never met a stranger and was always ready to offer advice or just a listening ear. He was well known as generous man who never hesitated to help someone in need. He was a hard worker and very proud of his job at Leggett and Platt where he worked for over 40 years as a Supervisor/ Shift Foreman. But his favorite job was being a granddaddy, with 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren! He has a big family and he loved calling family and friends to catch up or just check in. Donnie was headstrong, kind, resilient, sure to make you laugh and definitely one of a kind! He made a difference in many people's lives and was loved immensely by the ones around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Livingston; Son Richard Hodge; Parents George Cullens Livingston and Allie Lee Livingston; His brothers Jerry, Dennis, Joe Franklin, Randy, Hubert, George and Lloyd; His sisters Mary Anne, Betty, Estelle and Carolyn.
Left to celebrate his memory is his companion Jill Culbert; His brother and sister Jennings and Diane; His children, Tammie (Damian), Charlotte (Benny), Kenneth and Joe; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held to honor the life of this great man. Details to be announced
